Rebel Panther

Ok, I'm being bad and posting it on here....


But this is by far my favorite version of this Panther. I've been though around 4-6 versions (I've lost count), and if he doesn't like this, I'll eat my hat. I'm not sure which hat, but I will find one and eat it in despair.

I mean look at it! I'm surprised how nice it looks. And it would look even more killer, colored. But I don't dare touch it's beauty with my unskilled coloring hands. No way! Though, I could always try putting it in photoshop... Hm....

But for now, it will sit here in all it's lineart-y glory!

I have really three levels. The outside is supposed to be the skin that has been torn and revealed the Rebel Flag. Which is a major thing he really wants in the tattoo design. Also as a key part is the Panther jumping out of it. But he wanted the Panther to be jumping out of the flag, yet clawing into the skin and pulling back.
So, um... how do you jump forward and pull back at the same time? I hope the bottom paw will fulfill that requirement. I hope I hope I hope....

I would love feedback! I want to know what people think of this piece. And I'm open to what I could do to improve it, or maybe ideas for if I have to do it again. I hope not though.
